Hotel Du Palais Des Papes Avignon

We absolutely loved the location! The hotel is situated in a 14th-century building with gorgeous period decor and exposed stone walls. The front desk staff, especially Richard, was incredibly kind and helpful. They made reservations for us at fantastic restaurants and even provided us with an umbrella when it was raining. The other staff members were also extremely helpful. The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, offering a comfortable stay. Breakfast was delicious, and we enjoyed the convenience of the tea service provided by Tatiana. The hotel also offers a must-try tour on a little train that takes you to a lookout. Perfect for bigger groups of friends.

Great location opposite popular historical site, surrounded by bars and restaurants. Room had large bath with ample hot water. Initial issue with room cleanliness was promptly resolved by helpful reception staff. Convenient for sightseeing and comfortable with effective air conditioning.

The location of the hotel was perfect, just around the corner from a lively square with plenty of bars and restaurants. Plus, it was right next to the Palais des Papes, so we had a stunning view of it from our room. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet offered good value for money.

The room was a bit small and cramped, which made it difficult to move around comfortably.

Beautiful property with old-fashioned charm and huge windows overlooking the square. Excellent location near historical places and restaurants. Friendly staff and outstanding service. Delicious fresh orange juice at breakfast. Lovely view of the Palais from the comfort room. Clean and charming with modern comforts and a choice of lift or spiral staircase. Good breakfast with both hot and cold options. Enjoyable dinner by the fireplace.

Nothing that I didn't like.

I had the best stay at this hotel! The location couldn't have been more perfect - right next to the palace and near the main square. It was so convenient being right in the center of the city. The cleanliness of the hotel was impressive, and the facilities were fantastic. I also appreciated the parking option, as I was able to park at a nearby city parking lot with a discount from the reception. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, especially Richard who went above and beyond to assist me with a flat tire and finding underground parking. The breakfast was delicious and having it in front of a fully functioning fireplace was a cozy touch.

I had a wonderful time staying at this hotel in the heart of the old town. The location was perfect, allowing me to explore all the attractions within walking distance. The room was comfortable and provided a cozy retreat after a day of exploring.

There were a few drawbacks. The room was a bit cramped and lacked storage facilities, making it a challenge to keep my belongings organized.

This hotel in the center of the city is a great find. It offers excellent value for money, with reasonable prices and attention to detail throughout. The rooms are just like in the photos, with comfortable beds and original features. The highlight is the view from the room, directly overlooking the square where the Palace of the Popes is located. Additionally, the breakfast provided is delicious and satisfying.

All was satisfactory at this hotel.
